Is the prebiotic fibre low FODMAP?

In our experience, the fermented grains in the formula will consume the FOS. That’s why they are there. One of the key claims for the health benefits of fermented foods is their contribution of live ‘good’ microbes – to the existing colonies in the gut. Fermented foods may increase micronutrient levels by supporting healthy bacteria colonisation. Some bacteria can increase levels of vitamins in food, especially B vitamins.

I noticed HW has fructo-oligosaccharides – will that be a problem if I have fructose malabsorption?

Potentially it could. It may depend on the severity of the malabsorption & any reactions. Generally speaking, it’s recommended to avoid foods rich in fructans and other fermentable oligo-, di- and mono-saccharides and polyols, including artichokes, asparagus, leeks, onions, and wheat-containing products, including bread, cakes, biscuits, breakfast cereals, pies, pasta, pizzas, and wheat noodles.

Are the B vitamins methylated for MTFHR gene people?

They're not, but they're in small enough amounts so we have found them not to be an issue especially since there is the digestive enzyme Bromelain to assist with digestion.

Is it ok to use HW if I have Hashimoto’s and MTHFR?

Yes, it’s fine. Whenever there are complicated medical conditions & you have any concerns, we recommend speaking with your healthcare professional, prior to commencing any healthcare program.

Would the caffeine in HW have a detrimental effect on adrenal fatigue?

The caffeine in Green Tea and Green Coffee is offset by the catechins. So it’s fine for people looking to regulate or improve their adrenal function.

I’ve heard pea protein is hard for some people to break down?

That’s why we have a lot of digestive support elements. Pea proteins can be very easy to digest and comparable to the best animal protein source. Laboratory tests on Pea Proteins demonstrated at least a 90% digestibility rate in humans. Animal experiments showed as high as 97.8% digestibility. Pea Protein also delivers you a good source of beneficial amino acids.

As recommended by Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) — the pea protein essential amino acid profile is very close to ideal for human nutrition.
